Back in Black

As a die-hard New Englander, I do not need four wheel drive. Good snow tires and good winter skills, plus a shovel, are all you really need.

Mine ride on black steel rims. I used to use fancy wheels but steel lasts better. Sometimes I do run wheel covers; I haven’t found the right set for this car yet.

On the eve of Thanksgiving we have entered “I don’t care how it looks, I want to get there” season.

Related: the Foundation office sent us nice black face masks. I wore mine with a black rain coat to do the Thanksgiving shopping, in my black car with the black steel wheels.

Stayed dry, stayed protected, didn’t get stuck, and didn’t burn any gasoline. Win.
