The orange can-mera

Kiddo and I took this experimental home-build out yesterday for a workout.

It’s a pinhole camera constructed from a Soviet SMENA-7. The shutter failed shortly after I got it, so I removed the lens and replaced it with a pinhole constructed from an orange soda can. A second piece of the can over the old lens serves as a lens cap.

I’ve only finished one roll with it so far. It is hanging in the darkroom drying as I type. Hopefully later this week I can print them and see how it worked out.
