I recently discovered a stray pack of expired Impossible Silver Shade for my Spectra. I didn't expect much and thus was pleasantly surprised. I hear the newest Impossible films are getting pretty good. I may need to order a pack or two. The Spectra was fun to work with again.
The week after Christmas, we were visited by family for a few days. This was a great opportunity to break out the Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic (a camera smaller than its name.) People always love Instax. I always blink, so I don't appear in many photos.
23 hours and 36 minutes without a call. I redesigned the blog, drank a lot of iced tea, and finished a good mystery. Then I got out late anyway. My Friday shift is usually laid back, but this was a bit ridiculous. It happens once or twice a year.
Wanderlust Cameras 'Travelwide' 4x5 with Schneider Angulon 90/6.8 lens, BLIK rangefinder, and bubble level. Now loaded with Tmax 100 film. I can't wait to try it out.
Sebastian is our alpha cat. He keeps the colony organized and purring smoothly. Chai Lai (the Siamese) is his deputy. As Sebastian ages and slows, she visibly watches out for him. It's sweet to see.
I finally received a lens for my Travelwide yesterday. Today I was looking forward to trying it out. I installed it and set the focus ring, then set off for the waterfront. I selected the Minolta Weathermatic 35DL for shooting Christmas by accident. I wanted something decent and automatic with a flash. My first choice Olympus MjuII had a dead battery.
