Week 28 – Lomography Action Sampler

The Action Sampler is a small plastic 35mm camera with 4 lenses. Each press of the shutter release triggers a clockwork arrangement which exposes each lens sequentially over 1-2 seconds. The resulting image consists of four panels on one negative.

Earlier this year Tony Kemplen (pho-Tony) did some interesting work (separate links) with one of these cameras by taping differently colored gels over the individual lenses.

The Action Sampler is currently out of stock at Lomography, but you can easily find knockoffs like mine on eBay with a little searching.
