April 21 was requalification day at Seashore Trolley Museum. One weekend every spring, the volunteers descend on Kennebunkport to renew our trolley driver’s licenses.

Do they still run the Montreal (?) open car? The one with the decorative wrought iron and stepped seats?

No. 2 is still around and is a joy to operate. Right now she’s in the shop with a burnt motor awaiting funding for repairs. I hope she’ll be back in the operating fleet soon, but probably not for this season.
We can hope, though.
