Catching up on a few recent photos.
4/5 – Spring is finally showing signs.
4/6 . . .but the campers haven’t arrived at Salisbury Beach yet.
4/19 – Strasburg Railroad in the rain. Contrast with this one from Thomas last summer.
4/20 – Just down the block from our hotel in a back alley next to a vacant-looking brick factory, we found one of the Hershey Kissmobiles hiding. There are at least two of them, as we saw another with different colors later in the trip.
Jumping forward to 5/7, we find my Accucraft plantation engine headed downgrade on Eric Schaade’s Winnegance & Quebec Railway.
5/7 – End of track on the full size, narrow gauge Wiscasset, Waterville, & Farmington Rwy.
And finally on 5/7, a good reason why you should remove or paint over your name before selling your fire engine. This one is retired out of Sebago, ME. Its giant SEBAGO FIRE DEPT TANK 1 lettering is visible over 1/2 mile away. Oops. Here’s hoping the new owners don’t do anything stupid with their rolling billboard.
