Dunkin Donuts

Kudos to the shift manager at my local Dunkin Donuts in Topsfield, MA. I forgot my wallet this morning; and he offered to put my usual on a tab, without my asking.

Call it good business, customer service, or simply feeding my addiction. The fact is he went above and beyond for me. Thank you, sir.

  1. Interesting contrast to the posts several months ago about the car wash. Nice to see you remembered to hand out “attaboys” when warranted, not just the “ahsh*ts.”Just out of curiosity, were you in uniform at the time? And, if you were, do you think the manager might have done the same for John Q Civilian-Citizen?

  3. Yes, I was in uniform at the time. I'm not sure, but I think he would have done it anyway. They seem to have a good relationship with all of their regulars. Of course, I am a bit more memorable in my lime green jacket.
