January 7 – The Wickham Trolley model on a back shelf in the workshop.
We attended the 22nd Annual White Mountains Trackcar Meet on the Hobo and Winnipesaukee Railroads this weekend. The motorcar ran very well; the weather not so much.
New Haven cab cars at the Hobo RR in Lincoln, NH. June 4.
June 5. Somewhere in Campton, NH.
June 6. Angry sky over Weirs Beach, NH and the M/S Mount Washington. The rain started shortly after.
Today’s P365 is a slight cheat, as Mrs. Mack505 took the picture. I haven’t downloaded my camera yet.
Today we took the speeder on an excursion on the Pioneer Valley RR. The PVRR runs on the track of the Holyoke & Westfield, which was built by the city of Holyoke and has been in continuous operation since 1870. The RR claims to be the oldest continually operating shortline in the US. It’s a great run, ending in and around the mills in downtown Holyoke.
Update: Here’s my own shot for the day.
April 12 – Another sunny spring morning in the Witch City.
April 13 – I spent the afternoon cleaning and adjusting the carb on the speeder. It’s a Zenith carb on an Onan CCKB motor, for those who know these things. From this angle, I think it resembles Frank from the movie Cars. My family doesn’t see it, though. Maybe it was just too many Gumout fumes.
April 10 – Beth, Cricket, and Colby watch a hay delivery at the farm.
April 11 – did some trail maintenance on the Cotton Valley Rail Trail with Hank, Pete, and Jesse.
