I spent the day running steam trains with friends and the evening at Plum Island with family.  This is the Parker River just after sunset on the way home.

Good night, Moon.

The moon sets over the Parker River at a very early hour this morning.  Very cold with a wind chill of around zero degrees (F).  I was glad I could shoot out the sunroof of my car.

Shot just a few feet away from #21.

ISO1600, f5.3, 1 second exposure

Another reason to carry the camera at all times.  Sunset over the Parker River marsh in Newbury.

A warm sunny day, followed by a drop to freezing at dusk brought out the fog.  Five minutes earlier or later and this sight would not exist.

Shot at ISO1600, 1/5 sec, no tripod.  Hold your breath, shoot a bunch, and hope one comes out well.
