October 13 – My little world traveller.

On one of our flights, the complimentary peanuts came with this warning:  Produced in a facility that processes peanuts and other nuts. I think that’s kind of the point.

    And if the bag of peanuts hadn’t had that warning, some MO-ron allergic to nuts would have eaten them, sued the packager, and won. The stoopididity of the American public is beyond belief. We had a guy last year visiting Maine on vacation from Rhode Island. He was allergic to nuts and shellfish at home. What did he have for lunch on vacation? You guessed it, a lobster roll and a maple nut sundae. nHis wife told us his history and when we asked why the hell he had THAT for lunch, she said, “well, it’s vacation… he’s entitled to a treat…”
